1st day of school

We started school on Aug. 15 (even though my camera said the 14th). I surprised the kids with homemade chocolate cake for breakfast!! They were SOOO surprised.
They are so happy to be in 2nd grade and were very glad to be back in a routine

1st field trip of the 11-12 school year

Our 1st field trip was to Chick-Fil-A. The kids learned about the history of Chick-Fil-A, how and where the food is prepared and cooked, and how the drive thru runs. At the end of the tour, they all received a free ice cream cone, a sticker, and a mini stuffed Chick-Fil-A cow. They are pictured above with thier friend Kayla.

B-day party at the Lake

We helped celebrate cousin "J"s 10th birthday at Lake Martin.
