VBS at Mt. Zion

The kids after a long, FUN week of VBS at our neighbors church (2 weeks ago). The VBS theme was Boomerang Express. They ended the week with water slides, slip-n-slides, and mini swimming pools; followed by lunch at McDonalds and time on the indoor playground.

They all made these sweet handprint pictures

Close up of what they say.
Picture frames that they made.
Fun pictures of them as safari guides.
All of the things that came in their "goody bags" on the last day.
Little journals that they made to record their Bible verses that they were learning.

Swim Lessons at the YMCA

Z is with the lady and M is with Chaz, the instructor. They were learning to swim with their hands in front of them and how to feel for the wall
M finally put her whole face in the water and didn't cry!!
Z LOVES the water!!
C is a little fish. He often forgets to come up and take a breath. Chaz has to tap his back to remind him to come up.
M learning how to float on her back
Z was a little scared to let go at first.
C had no problem.

1st Dance Recital

On Saturday, June 6th, the girls had their first dance recital which was held at the theater at the BJCC. Pictured above is flowers from their PaPa. He could not attend the performance and he wanted to wish them good luck!!
Here are the girls all "dolled" up with make-up and curly pigtails.
This picture was actually taken the day b/4 at their practice. It is the only close-up I have of them with their sailor hats on.
M, me, and Z about 30 minutes b/4 the show started.
They were SOOOO excited!!
Their first number was a ballet routine to "Good Ship Lolli Pop"
Z is on the back row on the left and M is on the back row on the right.
Z on the right.
M on the right.
Z and M on the back row.
Their 2nd number was a tap routine to "Kung Fu Fighting". M and Z are now on the front row.
That is all of the girls in their dance class. The 3 girls on the right were triplets!!
M doing a kung-fu move
Z (she had a wardrobe malfunction during this number. Her pigtail got stuck in the velcro strip on her neck and she couldn't get it loose.)
M on the left bowing.
M and Z after the recital with their participation trophies and flowers from MiMi.
I can't forget a picture of C. He had to tag along to all of their practices and he was their biggest cheerleader in the audience.

Swim Lessons

Yesterday, the kids attended their 1st swim lesson at the YMCA. The kids are participating with another set of triplets. (Their mom actually took this picture with her phone.) In the pool are their 2 swim instructors, Chris and Chaz. Sitting on the edge from L-R are C, friend T, friend J, friend A, can't see her, but Z, and then M. They all did really well for their 1st lesson and hopefully, they can all swim by themselves by the end of the summer.

Bow Heads!!

Z and M showing off their "bow heads"
They wanted to look like the little cheerleader on Z's shirt
C's toe is doing so much better. He is now able to wear 2 band-aids on it and is walking around on it really well. He goes for his check-up on Wednesday so we will find out just how well it is healing.

I also found each of them a pair of pjs.
AND......a pair of tap shoes and Disney pink "real" crocs.
I got all of this for a grand total of $8.43!!!!!

C's toe surgery

C had a HUGE wart growing under his big toe on his right foot that was pushing his toenail off. My podiatrist saw it when I had my check-up and said it needed to come off right away b/4 it spread any more.
He also had one growing on the bottom of the same toe. (sorry the picture is a little fuzzy!)
Today, he had surgery to remove the 2 warts and she also had to remove his big toenail so infection couldn't get under it. He was such a brave little guy and only cried when she gave him the 6-8 shots to numb his toe. I lost count b/c I was holding his hands down so he wouldn't try to grab her or the needle and daddy was holding his legs down so he wouldn't jerk his foot. After the shots, he was fine and watched the whole procedure with a smile on his face.
He is so excited to have a big "BLUE" toe and is glad that his "wart toe", as he calls it, is gone.

Thank you Brother Johnny for being there with us today!!

Preschool graduation

The girls getting their dressed for the ceremony
C, their friend J, Z, and M waiting their turn on stage
M, C, Z, and two classmates sang the "alphabets sounds" song. They did awesome and M was the loudest. She LOVES to sing!!!!
A close up of them singing.
Standing together after they received their diplomas. The pictures I took of them receiving their diplomas did not turn out very well. Obviously, the lady in the picture got a really clear picture of her child.
The happy graduates. (They were standing on an AC vent and it was blowing their dresses and gowns up.)
Celebration dinner with MiMi and PaPa at O'Charlie's (the fancy restaurant to match their fancy clothes)
Me and the crew.
You can see just how enthused they were to pose for yet another picture.
My babies are no longer babies anymore and will start kindergarten in the fall. We are so thrilled and blessed that we found a 1/2 day kindergarten at a local church. They have met their new teacher and just adore her. She is really big on reading so I have challenged the kids to read 100 books this summer (they can read to me and I can read to them). If they complete the challenge, they get to go to Chuckie Cheese as their reward. They are pumped about it and feel very confident that they can read 200 books!!!!

Sick Kids

I haven't posted any new pictures lately b/c all three kids have strep throat and sinus infections. M is also battling really bad nose bleeds. I hope to post some pictures in the next week or so.

Some exciting news to share though (that I am very delayed in sharing). All 3 children asked Jesus into their hearts the Tuesday b/4 Easter. What an AWESOME day!! I have prayed for this day since I found out I was pregnant.

They also participated in their first communion at the Maundy-Thursday service. They will participate in their first communion during worship service tomorrow morning. I am SOOO excited for them.
