The kids and I went to my favorite whole in the wall thrift store the day b/4 C's surgery. This time I lucked out on deals for him. I found 2 LL Bean long sleeve polos, one Children's Place short sleeve polo, one long sleeve plaid dress shirt, & a LL Bean rash guard swim trunks and top.
I also found each of them a pair of pjs.
AND......a pair of tap shoes and Disney pink "real" crocs. 
C had a HUGE wart growing under his big toe on his right foot that was pushing his toenail off. My podiatrist saw it when I had my check-up and said it needed to come off right away b/4 it spread any more.
He also had one growing on the bottom of the same toe. (sorry the picture is a little fuzzy!)
Today, he had surgery to remove the 2 warts and she also had to remove his big toenail so infection couldn't get under it. He was such a brave little guy and only cried when she gave him the 6-8 shots to numb his toe. I lost count b/c I was holding his hands down so he wouldn't try to grab her or the needle and daddy was holding his legs down so he wouldn't jerk his foot. After the shots, he was fine and watched the whole procedure with a smile on his face.
He is so excited to have a big "BLUE" toe and is glad that his "wart toe", as he calls it, is gone.

Today, our church had an Easter egg hunt and party (which I was in charge of). Above is C in the bunny cut-out that I painted for the festivities.

Above are our 6 glasses with the dissolved colored tablets. The smell of vinegar brought back so many childhood memories. I am excited to pass those memories onto my children now!

The girls were concentrating hard.
This past Thursday I went to see the podiatrist to identify two "spots" that have been on the bottom of my left foot since I was in college. With each passing year, the spots hurt worse and worse and my general practitioner was unsure exactly what they were. As soon as the podiatrist saw them, she knew they were planters warts and that they were pretty deep. She looked at her watch and asked me if I worked. When I replied that worked part time, she said, "Good! I have surgery in 45 minutes so we can remove them today!". I was a little hesitant but she was FANTASTIC and hysterical and made the surgery the breeze. Forty five minutes later, my foot was wrapped like this and I know have 2 dime sized holes in the bottom of my foot.
The blood spots show where the holes are and b/c the pictures were a little too graphic, I will not post what the actual holes look like. Ben has been a great doctor and has 3 little nurses to help take care of me. They act as his assistants when he has to rewrap my foot everyday. I have some "happy pills" to ease the pain and I'm able to get around better with each passing day. I should be fully recovered in 2- 1 1/2 weeks.

Tonight after dinner, Daddy pulled C's 2nd tooth on the bottom.
It looks like he has lost 4 teeth b/c of huge space that has been made for his 2 new grown up teeth.

Saturday morning, C awoke to a gold fairy dust trail from his window to his bed side table where he found blue tinted water and a "golden coin". ($1.00 coin) He was SOOO excited. He ran to show the girls first and then he came and showed us. 
After weeks of trying to pull C's 1st loose tooth, daddy finally pulled it tonight right b/4 bedtime. Above is C with a paper towel in his mouth to stop the bleeding. He didn't believe daddy had pulled the tooth until he saw it on the chair.

A very proud and excited little boy with his "Tooth Fairy Jar". If you look closely, you can see the tooth under the letter A. He will leave the jar on his night stand and wait for the tooth fairy to come tonight. I will update tomorrow on what the tooth fairy leaves behind.
