Celebration Park......SOOO much FUN!!!!!!

I took the kids to Celebration Park on Tuesday and they had a BLAST! This was the 1st thing they ran too......the giant crayon.
Next, they stood under the buckets that randomly tip and pour water on them.
C got splashed!
M enjoying the water spouts.
No, they are not all peeing!!!
M running through the "rainbow hoops" as she called them.

Z running through the "car wash"
C going through the "loopty-loops"
As you can tell, they each had a different name for it.
This was one of their favorite spots. The tube drained all of its water to a mysterious place.
And then it.....................
........filled back up with water and made a giant tornado in the process.
When the tornado reached the top, it shot water out of the top and bottom. They squealed with excitement every time.
C became fascinated with the drain and where the water went.
He then decided to try and stop the water from going down the drain.
M playing in the piano sprinklers again. That was her favorite part.
Z mad b/c Clay splashed her face.
M giving me a courtesy smile.
C hamming it up for me.
What a fun and FREE day with the kids!!

4th of July weekend

We started off the weekend in Magnolia with this shaggy haired boy. He had asked to grow his hair out long but the summer heat finally got the best of him.
Here is the back view!
Here is what he looks like now after I got the clippers to him! A much cooler summer do!
Uncle Brent bought them a pool and we HAD to fill it up right away. They spent all Friday afternoon and most of Saturday and Sunday in the pool. They have only had 5 swim lessons but they are all swimming under water now!! YEAH!!!
C under water!!
M finally working past her fears and going under water. We can't keep her out of the water now. She is probably the best swimmer now.
Z, C, and M would like to say, "Thank you Uncle Brent!"
Z doing water ballet.
Cool man!
Maggie Moo!
PePaw and MeMaw trying to stay cool in the shade while watching the kids swim.
Aunt Onie, Aunt Ina, and Gran hanging out in Uncle Brent's new shed.
Mr. Billy Bert and Uncle Burch talking "farm" stuff.
Ben and Uncle Brent fixing their lunch plates. We had BBQ, ribs, chicken, sausage, hot dogs, hamburgers, veggies, baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, salsa, sausage cheese dip, casseroles, and TONS of desserts. YUMMY!!!!!
Lunch time!
More lunch photos
Noelia and Kevin taking Gaines for his first 4-wheeler ride. Between breaks in the pool, we all took 4-wheelers rides.
C posing on top of the hay bails. Shortly after this picture was taken, he was jumping from bail to bail and suddenly disappeared.........He fell off of the back of one of the bails and rolled down the hill. He didn't make a sound. He just climbed back up and said, "I missed!".
M showing her strong muscles on top of the hay bails.
Z, not so sure if she is well balanced, but posed for a picture anyway.
C's feet at the end of the day! Love the flip flop marks! (notice his little nubby big toe nail that is finally growing back after his surgery!)
The girls feet.

We had a blast in Magnolia seeing family, eating good food, and catching up on each other's lives.

VBS at our church

Last week, the kids participated in VBS at our church. The theme was "Camp E.D.G.E. - Experience and Discover God Everywhere". I was on the decorating committee so I had a lot of fun painting, drawing, and setting things up.
This was the spot where the opening and closing ceremonies took place. If you look closely, you can see A, C, and M with Sparks the mascot.
M striking a pose in the canoe.
C and M in the giant cutout that I painted (with the kids "help")
M and Z pretending to be hikers.
I had to add a little humor so I made an outhouse. What is camping without one? We even had a wooden sign in the hall that pointed to it.
M posing again in arts 'n crafts.
C is on the far left and the girls are in the middle wearing green. They had to get inside the trash bag, hop down the hill, pick up water balloons, put them in their bag, and hop to the finish line without bursting them. VERY FUNNY!!!
Next, they had a water balloon toss. C's burst just after I took this photo.
Thursday was "red" day but we arrived late b/c the kids had gymnastics. The girls wanted everyone to see their "cute" outfits so they did not wear red.
They had an egg race. They placed an egg in a plastic spoon and had to race to the finish line without using their hands or dropping it. Z is a little behind but the girl in front used her finger to hold the egg in place!!!
Here goes M. She held hers out really far so it wouldn't break or splat on her.
This was music time. They were singing, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength."
Now they are singing to the parents at the parent presentation on the last day.
They ended the week with a hot dog and smore's roast! C is on the far left with a marshmallow and M is in the middle with pink pants on. Z is in the background getting a marshmallow from one of the volunteers.
